How I Discovered Tibet Vista: A Trustworthy Travel Partner
I found Tibet Vista after extensive research on the internet. I am from Brazil and have been living in Portugal for 8 years, but traveling so far away was both a dream and a challenge. I wanted to travel with a tour agency that had credibility, experience, and could provide support in any situation. Tibet Vista came up with excellent references, good testimonials, and many years in the business.
From the first contact, I was assisted by Liam, who promptly explained how the Tibet tour worked. More than that, he asked what I really wanted to see, my expectations, and my availability. That’s when Tibet Vista won me over, because I wanted a complete trip, not only to Tibet but also to India and Nepal. Liam then organized an exclusive itinerary within my possible dates, and when I asked to include a city outside the Golden Triangle, he immediately contacted his network to add the city of Rishikesh.
For a year, we made adjustments, and he guided me on how and when to buy tickets, the best routes to travel to Tibet, and the necessary documents. Tibet Vista organized all the required paperwork for me and my husband to obtain the Tibet Travel permit to enter Tibet, as well as the visas for the other countries. This was a big help since, being far away, it’s hard to trust agencies that want to mediate all the documentation—but we didn’t need to worry, as we followed Tibet Vista’s recommendations and everything went perfectly.

Exploring Amazing Tibet: My Dream Journey Comes True
The Tibet trip itself was a dream come true. From the moment we arrived in Chengdu, southwest of China, it was easy to pick up our documents. In Lhasa, we were greeted by a caring assistant who also helped us with our luggage that hadn’t arrived because of an airline error. They solved everything!
The next day, our luggage was in our hotel room! The guide who accompanied us in Tibet was impeccable, even helping me with their own clothes (since on the first day I had none) and giving us support and guidance regarding how to avoid altitude sickness.
We had amazing days experiencing the breathtaking landscapes of Tibet, receiving information about the culture, the history, local rules, food, Buddhism, the weather, and everything else essential to discover that impressive place. We had water and oxygen supplies available throughout the trip.
The hotels we stayed in were all 4 or 5 stars, we visited local communities, and were always very well received. At the Tibet Everest base camp, we had a unique experience; all recommendations and information were given, and we had support for altitude needs. It was one of the most incredible moments of my life.

My Heartfelt Thanks to Our Guide and Drivers along the Way
The guide and the driver helped when my credit card was “swallowed” by an ATM, going with us to the bank to recover it. They also promoted strong interaction with the group, making the trip pleasant and fun.
On this journey, we made friends with whom we are already planning a new trip together. When leaving Tibet for Nepal, the support from Tibet Vista was professional and absolutely essential. Without them, we wouldn’t have known how to get to the border or cross it. Moreover, upon arrival in Nepal, we were welcomed by a local guide and driver who took us safely on the difficult road to Kathmandu, with their smooth border transfer service.

Discovering Nepal and India: A Seamless Himalayan Adventure
In Nepal, the local Tibet Vista Nepal team ensured the same quality and trust, with a professional guide and drivers who showed us the local beauty and shared all about the culture and history.
An important detail was that Liam gave us a complimentary one-day stay in a beautiful hotel in the Himalayas due to a last-minute change in our initial itinerary. The day in the Nagarkot hills was well worth it, and very romantic!
Explored the historic Durbar Square in Kathmandu, Nepal.
The flight between Kathmandu and Delhi was also arranged by Tibet Vista and was impeccable. In India, we had the assistance of a partner agency that took care of everything: picking us up at the hotel in good cars, with good drivers and guides.
All entrance tickets were included and arranged; we even had meals included on some excursions. We visited the main sites of the Golden Triangle, and in Agra, our guide even arranged for a photographer for us, with typical costumes and everything.
I must highlight having Liam always available, both by email and message, which gave us extra peace of mind. Whenever we had questions, he promptly helped to clarify them.
In Rishikesh, we had a complete tour and, in the end, I did not return with my husband as I stayed for a training course. Even with this last-minute change, the agency arranged to take me to the new accommodation and took my husband to the airport to say goodbye, and brought me back to the hotel safely.
At no point during the Tibet Nepal Indian tour did we feel unprotected or without assistance. I highly recommend Tibet Vista and, without a doubt, we will travel with them again!
