I heard about Tibet Vista last year, when I was interested in traveling there. One of my contatcts, based in Shanghai, gave me their email.
I got in touch with Gigi, who was very professional, and very helpful the whole time. I booked a trip from Lhassa to Kathmandu.
I was supposed to go to Lhassa by train, but due to personal reasons, I had to fly. I highly recommend to go to Tibet by train, as it gives time to acclimate with the altitude, as Lhassa is 3650m high.

Professional, Affordable, and Exceptionally Helpful: Tibet Vista Made My Journey to Lhasa Seamless
My tour guide was very good, his English was excellent, and he could answer to all my questions, and I had so many questions.
Gigi helped me many times, as my flight was cancelled once, helped me with my late arrival, and so on. I was impressed by her capacity to answer so quickly, early in the morning, or late in the evening.

I got in touch with other companies, but one company never replied to my emails, and an other one was charging twice the price, for the same itinerary. That's why I would recommend Tibet Vista : professionnal, and affordable.
Before I go to Lhassa, Gigi had sent me my Tibet travel permit, which was waiting for me in my hotel. So everything was planned. My only responsability was to carry this permit everywhere with me. So keep it in an enveloppe, in a safe place in your bag.

A Breathtaking Journey Through Tibet: Stunning Landscapes, Rich Culture, and the Challenges of High Altitude
Tibet is such a beautiful place, very unique in term of nature, due to the altitude. Tibetan buddhism was very impressive to look at, visiting the different monasteries. Lhassa has a great energy, very different from Shigatse.
We knew every day which activities were planned, and there were some ajustments. Indeed, I was in Tibet a few weeks after the earthquake. As I am especially interested in fabrics, my tour guide helped me to find some, for a reasonable price.

The problems I had were due to the altitude. I fainted twice, my nose was bleeding, I had awful headaches, my whole body got bigger for several days. Fortunately, there were oxygen bottles in the bus, which were extremely helpfull.
That is why I recommend to go by train. The other passengers came by train, and they didn't have as many troubles as I had. The train is about 24h long, but it looks like a journey by itself. However, the flight was extraordinary, as i flew above splendid mountains.

Flying Over the Himalayas: Turbulence Challenges and Why the Train Is the Safer Choice
But remember that flying among the highest mountains in the world causes very violent turbulences. My plane couldn't land the first day, due to the turbulences, so I flew the next day, but I lost time and missed a few places because of that problem. So, even the train looks long, it looks like a much better option.
My tour guide accompanied me to the Nepalese border, and my driver was waiting for me just on the other side of the border. He drove for a few hours to Kathmandu. The company was very good, the service excellent.
