I did a lot of searching before booking. As a foreign traveler, I was nervous about the permit process and whether everything would actually run smoothly. I came across Tibet Vista through travel forums and blog posts, and the consistent positive feedback made me feel I could trust you.
The planning phase was surprisingly smooth. I had quite a few questions at first, but your team was always responsive and patient. I chose the 10-day Everest Base Camp tour – it felt like a good balance of culture, nature, and not being too rushed.

What It Feels Like to Travel with Tibet Vista?
Honestly? Much more relaxing than I expected. I thought there might be delays or confusion at checkpoints, but everything was handled perfectly. No stress about tickets, Tibet travel permits, routes, or accommodations – I just followed the guide and enjoyed the views. The whole experience was completely worry-free.
He really made the trip special. A local Tibetan guide, fluent in Tibetan, Chinese, and English. He didn’t just recite facts – he shared personal stories, translated conversations with local villagers, and taught us a few Tibetan phrases. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does. His care and warmth stayed with me throughout the journey.
The travelers in my group were friendly and fun – we got along really well. Along the way, we also met many warm-hearted local residents. Even a simple nod or smile from villagers made the experience feel more authentic and welcoming.

Every place we visited was beautiful, but enjoying the Everest base camp tour in person was unreal. I’ve seen photos a hundred times, but standing there, feeling the wind, watching clouds move around the summit… it’s something else. I’m not usually emotional about scenery, but that moment truly moved me. It was an honor to witness the world’s highest peak.
The main challenge was the altitude sickness in Tibet. I felt it at Shigatse and even more at EBC. But our guide reminded us to go slow, drink water, and not push too hard – that helped a lot. Also, the roads can be bumpy, so if you’re prone to motion sickness, bring pills.

– Book with a reliable agency and don’t try to do it independently – the permit process is real.
– Spend a couple of days touring Lhasa first to adjust to the altitude.
– Bring power banks – long drives, lots of photos.
– Talk to your guide. They know way more than what’s in the guidebooks.
– Pack light. You really don’t need as much as you think.
– Keep an open mind and go with the flow – the unexpected moments are often the best ones.

Overall, this was one of the most memorable trips I’ve ever taken. The landscape, the culture, the people – everything came together beautifully. I’m really grateful for the experience and will definitely recommend Tibet Vista to friends planning a trip to Tibet.
Would I come back? Absolutely. There’s so much I didn’t get to see – western Tibet, Mount Kailash tour, deeper into eastern Tibet Nyingchi tour. I’d love to return someday, maybe for a longer trip or a different season.
