For my 40th birthday, I wanted to do something truly memorable and decided that Tibet would be the perfect destination. Since childhood, I had dreamed of seeing Mount Everest, so I set out to find a reliable company to make this dream a reality.

She addressed all my questions and concerns, including those about avoiding altitude sickness issues. Her reassurance and the fact that the deposit was reasonable, with the option to pay the final balance upon arrival in Tibet, made me feel confident in booking the trip immediately. Holly's assistance with the visa application was invaluable, especially since I initially found the process confusing.

The holiday itself was nothing short of magical. It was a unique experience to explore a place that my friends and family had not yet visited, and I gained a deep understanding of Tibetan Buddhism. The guide provided was exceptionally knowledgeable, enhancing the overall experience. My only minor hiccup occurred at Beijing railway station, where I was unsure of where to catch my train. However, Holly was available via WhatsApp to assist me and even checked in while I was on the train to ensure I was okay.

Finally, the journey's highlight arrives: waking up next to Mount Everest
In Tibet, I was exceptionally well looked after. The presence of oxygen tanks when needed was reassuring, and the food was extraordinary. The local people were warm and welcoming, which made the Mt.Everest tour even more enjoyable. Waking up next to Mount Everest was a moment of sheer wonder, one that I will cherish forever. I’m also grateful for having taken preventive altitude medication, which I highly recommend to future travelers.
