The trip to Tibet was overall truly special and remains one of the most memorable travel experiences I have had. Even looking back, it feels less like a classic vacation and more like an intense and meaningful week full of impressions that continue to stay with me.
It was one of those journeys where you only realize afterward how much you actually experienced, not only in terms of landscapes, but also emotionally and mentally.

Planning Made Easy: How Tibet Vista Made My Tibet Tour Smooth
I discovered Tibet Vista through Google while researching different options for Tibet tours. What stood out to me immediately was how trustworthy the company appeared.
The website was clear and informative, and the reviews were consistently very positive, which gave me a good feeling from the start. That ultimately made the decision easy.
The planning phase went extremely smoothly. Everything was explained clearly, and I always felt well supported whenever I had questions. Communication with Tibet Vista was excellent throughout the entire process, and I never felt unsure about any step.
All the organizational aspects worked perfectly, including the Chinese visa and Tibet travel permits. The permit was even sent to me by post to Shanghai, which made everything very convenient and seamless.
I chose an eight day itinerary from Lhasa to Everest Base Camp and back to Lhasa. Seeing Everest Base Camp was something I really wanted to experience, and I decided to save Nepal for a future trip.
The route turned out to be the perfect choice. From the cultural Lhasa tour to the vast landscapes on the way to Everest, every day felt well balanced and thoughtfully planned.

The journey itself started in Lhasa, which was the perfect introduction to Tibet. The altitude was noticeable, but the slower pace actually helped with acclimatization.
The first days felt calm and grounding. Visiting temples and monasteries and learning about Tibetan Buddhism was fascinating, especially because religion is so naturally integrated into everyday life. Nothing felt staged or touristy, everything felt authentic and real.
Traveling through Tibet was much easier than I had expected. Transportation, accommodations, and daily organization were all very well managed. Our Tibetan tour guide was outstanding, not only very knowledgeable, but also incredibly attentive and kind. He always made sure everyone in the group was doing well and adjusted the pace when needed. I felt well taken care of at all times.
The only real challenge I faced was mild altitude sickness in Tibet on the first day. However, this was handled very well. The guide supported us immediately, gave helpful advice, and made sure we took it slow. Thanks to that, the situation improved quickly and never became a serious issue.

Everest Base Camp tour was without a doubt the highlight of the trip. Seeing Mount Everest in person was absolutely crazy and something I will never forget. The weather was perfect, the air was clear, and the atmosphere in the group was special. Standing there, surrounded by silence and vastness, felt unreal. It was one of those moments where everything else fades away and you are completely present.
Another unforgettable experience was visiting a Tibetan family. Being welcomed into their home, sharing a meal, and getting a glimpse into their everyday life was incredibly meaningful. It showed a side of Tibet that goes far beyond famous sights and left a deep impression on me.
Overall, the group dynamic was great. Everyone supported each other, especially with the altitude and cold, and there was a very positive and relaxed atmosphere throughout the trip. Even though the journey lasted only eight days, it felt much longer in the best possible way. Every day felt meaningful and full.
