The Phuntsok Kasang International Youth Hostel is situated in the heart of downtown Lhasa, centrally located between the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and Ramoche Temple, all within a 10-minute walk. The hostel, designed as a typical Tibetan courtyard in the downtown area, is positioned behind the front buildings, offering both convenience and a quiet, comfortable atmosphere.

Featuring approximately 220 beds spread across over 70 differently sized rooms, including standard rooms, luxury standard rooms, three-bed rooms, one large bed rooms, and multiple-bed rooms, the Phuntsok Kasang International Youth Hostel also offers unique Japanese-style rooms in Lhasa. Each room is equipped with a TV, telephone, air conditioner, and heating system, with a bathroom providing 24-hour hot water.
