Dong Cuo International Youth Hostel in Lhasa opened in 2005 is the leader private Dyeing-clothes house of Yellow hat sect. It is the first Tibetan style building and highest youth hostel in the world. The hostel is situated in the busiest street behind the famous Jokhang temple, where the previous commercial areal of the old centre city is located and also nearby of the Potala Palace.
At the hostel, there is a Housekeeping department with 24-hour hot water, single rooms, double rooms, common two/three/four-bed rooms, Korea bed rooms, dormtiory beds etc. This hostel also has a Food & Beverage bar, a Photography club, a Ka-jie Bicycle club, a Mountain-climbing club, a Self-catering kitchen.
