As for the domestic flights to Tibet, the booking process will become a little more complicated, for international travelers. According to the laws and policies, all foreign tourists who want to enter to Lhasa and travel around Tibet should get the Tibet Travel Permit in the first place. Meanwhile, before taking a flight to Tibet, you should firstly submit the original copy of your Tibet Travel Permit for check, and then you are qualified to board the flight. Notes on Booking Your Tibet Flights

1. Before purchasing your air tickets to Tibet, you should get your Tibet Travel Permit first. Generally, the office or agent will also inform you of the flight delay or other alteration over the phone.

7.For a normal fare ticket, whether it is one-way, round trip or circle trip, it is valid for one year from the date of commencement of travel. Normal fare means the highest fare established for First Class, Business Class and Economy Class that is applicable within a given period.

8. Children of 2 to 11 years old are charged 50% of the normal adult fare when taking domestic flights. Children on international flights are charged 75% of the applicable adult fare. Unaccompanied Minors are charged subject to Air China’s applicable fare policies. Infants under 2 years are not required to have their own seats and charged 10% of the normal adult fare.
