Among all the train stations in Chongqing, Chongqing North Railway Station is the only one that offers Tibet trains to Lhasa. Formerly known as the Longtou Temple Station, the station is provided with two separate departure halls, the North Square and South Square. And the Tibet train from Chongqing to Lhasa departs from the south square.
Currently, tourists can take Metro Line 3 or Metro Line 10 to get to the south square of Chongqing North Railway Station. Metro Line 3 line is also connected to Chongqing Airport on the other end. Besides, there are over 10 bus lines scheduled to stop at the railway station, including Bus No. 119, No.138, No. 421 etc.
