Enjoy the Paradise of Peach Blossoms in Nyingtri in 2026

With the largest pristine forest resources in China, Nyingtri (with an average of 3100m), situated in the southeast of Tibet, is blessed with the highest oxygen content in Tibet , pleasing climate, and captivating pastoral scenery. One of the best tour seasons is to enjoy its massive rosy peach trees in full blossom in spring.
Traditionally, the best time to enjoy peach blossoms is from mid-March to mid-April. On the other hand, as Tibet officially opens for foreign tourists at the beginning of April, you will have around two weeks to enjoy the widespread rosy pink peach blossoms. When peach trees reach their blooming season, the hillsides of Nyang River will be peppered with ancient peach trees loaded with full-blossomed flowers, making a sharp contrast with vast barley fields.
Three things distinguish peaches blossoms of Nyingtri from that of other places. Firstly, most of peach trees have stronger trunks, and more impressive. Secondly, the flowers on the trees are luxuriant and bright. Thirdly, the peach trees densely grow, covering a wide area.
The majority of the peach blossoms center along G318 national highway, Bome, Ranwu Lake, Nyang River, and the road from Nyingtri Milin Airport to Bayi district. As you travel along G318 national highway, the picturesque scenery unfolds before you. Meanwhile, you can appreciate the Lulang Forest, Mt. Namchabarwa(7782m), and Mt. Gyala Peri (7294m). The snow-capped lofty mountains plus ubiquitous pink peach trees are perfect subject for landscape photographers.
