Everest Base Camp Visit

Areas around Everest Base Camp suffer the complicated and changeable weather. Generally speaking, it is the rainy season from early June to middle September. The coldest weather hit the area from middle November to next February. There are two best periods to visit Mount Everest, one is from early March to late May, another from early September to late October.
Everest Base Camp was set up for the environmental protection of Mount Everest Core Area. At the elevation of 5200 meters, Everest Base Camp is 19 km from the peak of Mount Everest as the crow flies. Accommodations in Everest Base Camp are very simple and can not be luxurious in the remote places. In Everest Base Camp, tents, the small store even post office all are temporary except two public toilets. Solar cell panels are used to do the power supply at night.
