Good balance of guided and free time. I enjoyed temple/monastery descriptions. Pace was good. I liked horseback and homestay, except i didn't enjoy falling off of horse. Never got hot water bottle on Tietan meal in Tibetan restaurant, but the guide was helpful on finding places to get very good food! I enjoyed noodles for breakfast. Hotel Mandala was find with friendly staff.
