Those ruins include what was once the main Drolma Lhakhang. It is natural that people would compare the ruin with the black-and-white photos taken of the monastery before it was destroyed. Today,&nbsp; only eight Gelugpa monks live here. The central Tsongkhapa statue has a glass plate in his chest. It the plate holds an older image of Tsongkhapa.The way to get to Riche is first to walk up the road, which is beside the Pelkor Chode Monastery. Then you make a turn to the right onto the dirt track, which is heading towards the Rabse Nunnery. In a minute you&rsquo;ll see a misspelled sign for Riche Ganden which directs you to the north.
