Itinerary
Day01 Arrive in Lhasa by flight or by train
Lhasa airport/Train station picking up, have a good rest to acclimatize the high altitude in the afternoon.
Overnight at Lhasa.
Day 2-3 Two full days Lhasa Sightseeing(B)
The first two days you are in Tibet will be put towards sightseeing inside Lhasa, to visit fabulous and typical Buddhist and historic sites, such as Potala Palace,Jokhang Temple,Barkhor street, Sera Monastery and Drepung Monastery.
In Potala palace, you can explore the grandest of this myriad chapels, its audience halls, the jeweled and Golden burial chortens(stupa Tombs) of past Dalai Lamas, and tremendous number of Buddhist frescoes, thangkas, combinations of mandala, figures of the Buddha You will visit 3 important monasteries in Lhasa, the first and foremost is Johkang Temple, the spiritual center of Tibetan Buddhism, attracts pilgrims all over Tibetan Area, built during songtsen gonpo's reign by princess wencheng of tang dynasty, 647 A.D. the other two Monasteries Sera and Drepung Monastery locate in suburb of Lhasa, are hosted by hundreds of Monks, learning, praying, studying, living there. The famous Monks debiting is held in the courtyard of Sera Monastery in the afternoon.
You will also explore the circular pilgrim route barkhor while traveling at Johkang Temple, to contact local folks here, and if possible purchase some traditional Tibetan artifacts, religious implements, antiques, books, Tibetan music instrument, Thangkas, and tradition tibetan clothes etc.

Day04 Free day to contact typical folks in Lhasa(B)
This day is serving free for you for more understanding on lhasa city. There are so many interesting things that you should not miss around lhasa city.
Lingkor- pilgrimage, Some of them are Lingkhor-is the most interesting section of the city’s main pilgrimage circuit.It’s best walked in the morning, you’ll be joined by hundreds of Tibetan pilgrims. The hardest part of this walk is finding the starting point. The starting point is the completion point of this walk. In one complete lingkhor,you have made round to three most important “JOWOE”,the three precious statues ie Sakyamuni in jokhang, Mugyur dorjee in Ramoche and thukje chemo in Potala palace.
Chakpori: it is believe that a medical institution was once stood their on the chakpori or iron hill. The red hill and chakpo hill are seperated by three stupas in between. It is believe that by joining these two hills forms a big dragon which cause a big destruction in the lhasa city.
Lhasa Nadam: the 70 percentage of oxygen around lhasa city is produced from nadam, extending from drepung monastery to sera horse racing centre. You can observe it very carefully from the backside of the potala palace.
Tibetan tea houses and Butter Tea: if you have sufficient time in the morning, you can check out the crowded Tibetans drinking sweet tea or butter tea in restaurant like Ghamchung or Zhutral tea house.

Day05:Lhasa/Gyantse
Driving towards Yamdrok-tso and Gyantse Kumbhum monastery (300km) running through a black asphalt highway It is better to leave early in the morning and in about one and half hour way, From the top of Mt.Gangbala,you can see the fabulous shade of deep torquoise. Yamdrok-yutso is shaped like coiling scorpion with deep blue in colour. Leaving yamdrok-tso is a spectacular as arrriving, since you have to cross the 4960m karo-la with its awesome roadside views of the Nanchan- Kangtsang glacier. then reached to our day’s final destination Gyantse, visit Kubum monastery which is 35m-high chorten(stupa) with its white layers trimmed with decorative stripes and its crown-like goldendome, is awe-inspiring.you can visit every chambers in the monastery.

Day06:Gyantse/Shalu monastery/Shigatse Tashilunpo Monastery/Sakya
Visiting Shalu monastery and is very famous for its perfect combination of "Han", "Indian" and "Tibetan" architecture. It was built by "Jetsun Sherab Choengyal" and murals are the main things to see inside the Chapels. at the second largest city Shigatse between Lhasa and Mt.Everest, you will visit the famous Tashi Lhunpo monastery where you can see the well preserved largest statue of Jampa(future god) in the world. The monastery itself is abide place for the successive Penchen Lamas. driving through black smooth tar road to Sakya, visit Sakya Monastery, The Sakya tridition is one of the four main Buddhist schools in Tibet. It was from here that the whole of Tibet was governed during the period of Sakya hegemony and even now there are buildings of historic importance to be seen here. You can see the largest book in the world in Sakya's great library written in gold.

Day07: Sakya/Rongpuk Monastery/Everest Base Camp/Rongpuk
Driving direct towards the Mount Everest base camp(250km)Rough road upto mount Everest.
Your guide will take you to buy entrance ticket from San chen guesthouse in shekar with 400 yuan per jeep and 180 yuan per person. You can take your lunch from here and drive direct to Everest base camp. From the top of the Gyalpo-la pass you can see the beautiful sun raising from the top of great Himalayan mountains. woh what a superb scenery!! dont miss to see the scenery.

Day7:Rongpuk Monastery/Dham(B)

(The plant grows denser quickly with the sharp dropping of altitude.)
Forwards to Dham and rest a night there(239km),the road condition is very worse with rough bumpy road. Now a days it is under repairing…
The road condition is pretty good as compare to depopulated zone in west Tibet but is still a rough bumpy road from Old Dingri up to Nyalan and then have road a couple of kilometers under construction from Nyalam to Dham(border between Nepal and Tibet) seperated by a bridge called "friendship bridge" Other than mount Everest, you can also see the famous mount “Shishabangma”(8012m) after crossing Nyalam Thongla pass.

Day8: See you off at Nepalese Bolder. (B)
Our Guide will drop you off at next morning at the border bridge, You are kindly required to hike on your own to cross the border bridge which is 50ms long, then check in Nepal side, you can get the Nepal visa upon arrival with 30USD, please prepare one photo at passport size to get Nepal Visa. Next step, you need to find a car or bus towards Kathmandu, 50ms ahead from border bridge,dezens of car or bus are parking here to pick up travelers;3000 Nepali Rupee for a taxi rental to Kathmandu(50USD) , 50 Nepali Rupee(Appro.1USD) for a bus seat. usually, travlers tend to take taxi, because compared with bus, taxi only takes 3-4 hours, 120km to Kathmandu, it is cleaner and faster than bus which takes 7-8 hours making a detour to country side and stoped many times enroute; End tour at Nepalese Border.
