The tour itinerary:
Day01  Arrive in Lhasa(70km,3400km)
Lhasa airport picking up, have a good rest in the afternoon. Overnight at Lhasa. 

Day02  Lhasa sightseeing
Sightseeing in Lhasa, visit Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple & Barkhor Market. Overnight at Lhasa.

Day03 Lhasa sightseeing
Sightseeing in Lhasa, visit Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery. Overnight at Lhasa.

Day04 Lhasa /Yamdrok Lake / Gyantse(300km, 7 hours)
Driving to Gyantse via Yamdrok Lake, visit the famous Gyantse Kumpum . Overnight at Gyantse.

Day05 Gyantse /Shigatse /Sakya /Lhatse(240km,5 hours)
Driving to Shigatse to visit Tashilunpo Monastery, afternoon drive to Sakya, visit Sakya Monastery.Overnight at Lhatse.

Day06 Lhatse /New Tinggri (Shegar) /Rongphu Monastery /E.B.C(270kms,7 hours,5000m)
Driving to Rongphu via Shegar, on the way you will cross over Gyatsola Pass at 5,220 m, which is the highest enroute, and from the pass you will see the Himalaya mountain ranges in a clear day. Afternoon starting trekking from Rongphu to E.B.C, it takes about 2 hours. Or you can take animal carriage ( 30RMB/per person, round-trip). Overnight at Rongphu guest house.(dorm beds)

Day07  Rongphu /Old Tingri /Saga.( around 270KM, 8-9 hours)
Long driving about one day over the sandy and rocky land of Tibet, other things like lake, nomads chasing thousands of yaks and sheep keep you busy.  By the late afternoon you will cross Bhramha Purtra River way to typical Chinese and Tibetan town. Overnight at Saga (Guest house, dorm bed)

Day08  Saga /Paryang(250km, 7-8 hours, 4600m high)
 Driving from Saga to Paryang through the windswept territory passing many villages and camps of Yak herders with the distance view of snow capped mountains. Overnight at Paryang ( Guest House, drom bed)

Day09 Paryang /Lake Manasarovar (294km, 8 hours, 4558m high)
Driving from Paryang to Lake Manasarovar through open territory with a view of distant mountains, Yak herders camp, if you are lucky enough you might come across a herd of Kang (Wild Ass, you will have the first sight of Holy Kailash  and Manasarovara. Overnight at the village Hore or Chiu Monastery ( Guest house, dorm bed)

Day10 Lake Manasarovar/Darchen (60km, 2 hours, 4560m high)
 Manasarovara is the lake of compassion, tranquility and bliss. After completing the memorable morning Bath and Puja we will head towards Darchen, prepare for trekking. Overnight at Kailash Hotel. 

Day11 Trek from Darchen to Dira-puk Monastery, 20km, takes about 5 - 6 hours
  The first day parikarama is a gradual walk with multitudes of other local pilgrims chanting and praying. The trail leads to a few ups and downs till we reach our camp at Dirapuk (4,750 m). Camping on the nice grassy meadows with a view of Kailash, north west face at Dirapuk for overnight halt.

Day12 Trek from Dira-puk Monastery to Zutul-puk Monastery by crossing Drolma-la Pass, 15km, takes about 6 - 7 hours
  Today our parikarama leads to much higher side of the holy path just beneath the Mount Kailash. The walk will bring us to one of the highest point at Drolma La, 5,200m. before descending to the gradual field towards Zuthulphuk for the overnight camp. Zuthulphuk has a small monastery.

Day13 Trek back to Darchen,14Km, 4- 5 hours
  The winding gradual tracks finally ends our holy pilgrimage 5 hours, Overnight at Darchen.

Day14 Driving from Darchen to Paryang (4550m, 340km, 9 hours).
overnight at Paryang ( Gusethouse, dorm bed)

Day15  Driving from Paryang to Saga (252km, 7-8 hours).
Overnight at Saga ( Guesthouse, dorm bed)

Day16 Driving from Saga to Lhatse (300Km, 9 hours ).
Overnight at Lhatse.

Day17 Driving from Lhatse to Lhasa (450km, 7 hours).
Overnight at Lhasa. 

Day18 Lhasa airport dropping off, end the trip.

Vehicle used in this tour
Due to the rough road condition of Kailash tour, 4WD plays main role. compared with Van, the cost for 4WD is much higher, usually 3-34CNY/km in low season and 6CNY/km in peakseason. Most of our drivers are local Tibetan with at least 5 yesrs driving experience in Tibet, some of them can speak good English.All of the 4WD are in good conditions and looks new.
