Route feature:In this 12 days tour,you will not only see the the most famous Potala Palace,Jokhang Temple,Sera Monastery,Drepung Monastery,but also see some famous touring sites such as:Yumbulakang,Trundruk Monastery,and Samye Monastery you even can do lots of trekking around the monasteries.In a word,all these touring sites which make you have a fabulous view about Tibet and never to forget.
 

The tour itinerary:
B=breakfast, L=lunch, D=dinner, N=overnight
Day01  Chengdu/Beijing/Shanghai/Xian/Chongqin/Kunming to Lhasa
   Lhasa airport picking up, have a good rest in the afternoon. Overnight at Lhasa.  

Day02 Lhasa sightseeing
   Visiting Potola Palace, Johkang temple, and Barkor Market. Overnight at Lhasa. 

 

Day03  Lhasa sightseeing
   Visiting Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery,Overnight at Lhasa.

 

Day04  Lhasa/ Tsedang                                   
Visiting Yumbu Lakang Palace, Qamzhub Temple and Samye Temple. 

 

Day05 Tsedang/ Yamdrok Lake / Shigatse
   Up to Kambala pass which is 4794m high, you will have a glimpse of Yamdrok-tso there. It is one of the three holy lakes in Tibet. Then drive back to
chushul, along Nepal friendship way to Shigatse, visit Tashilunpo Monastery and the spectacular tombs of Panchen Lamas in the afternoon. Overnight at Shigatse.

 

Day06 Shigatse/Namtso Lake(4718m)/Bali Village/Droja Monastery 
Head for Namtso Lake by bus. The Mani Gounds and streamers at the pass of Galmud are very splendid. Droja Monastery, which was built in 1716, was the biggest
monastery around the lake. Camping.

 

Day07 Trekking around Namtso Lake-Droja Monastery/Buguzari/Ampa Komlong Island      
  Start to trek. Visit the caves in Buguzari, where many animals, plants and special letter-shaped patterns can be seen. Camping.

 

Day08  Buguzari/Kado Nanka Island/Ampa Komlong Island     
    Kado Nanka Island is a holy land, where there are lots of figures of Buddha and cave. There was Kado Monastery on the island but it was ruined during the
Cultural Revolution. Fortunately there are the traces. Here is exactly the opposite side of the Mt. Tanggula and there are several grand stone standing so they are called the Gate of Tanggula that are very splendid. We can see many mongolian gazelles. Camping.

 

Day09  Ampa Komlong Island/Jiachangcuiguo/No. 1 Camp      
   Jiachangcuiguo Yumen, which means the place to bath, is one of the four famous Yumens of Namtso Lake. It is said that people who bath here can get rid of
evils and have good luck. The sand road around the lake many make you tired. Camping.

 

Day10  No. 1 Camp/Nam Township/Zhaxi Peninsula        
   At this moment, we have rounded the lake. Zhaxi Peninsula is the largest peninsula around the lake, which is a tent town now. A great number of Tibetan
people from different pastoral areas come here to meet and pilgrimage. It is very lively.Dorm bed.



Day11  Zhaxi Peninsula/Damxung/Lhasa             
   In the end, we will round the the Zhaxi Peninsula. That is the whole trekking stuff. Then we will drive back to Lhasa.

 

Day12 Lhasa airport dropping off
   Morning Airport dropping off, end the trip
