Century-old Trandruk Temple in Tibet

Trandruk Temple was built in the period of King Songtsan Gambo in the south of Gungbort Mountain, two kilometers away from Nedong County in Lhoka Prefecture, Tibet. This monastry belongs to the Gelugpa school and is also considered to be one of the first Buddhist temples built in Tibet. In this temple, there is a huge piece of pearl Thangka that is the most precious treasure of this temple.
