It is another 77km to the Gertse. The whole journey takes you as long as&nbsp; seven hours to drive. You will need to plan your time wisely as you would like to stay in Gertse, for the place is far more interesting and scenic than the town.</p> <p>It is highly recommended that you take a ride out of Tsochen, for it offers you many opportunities to see something quite Tibetan. You can have a beautiful view of flocks of sheep grazing on rolling yellow high rugged mountains. See how those animals climbing up and down, flowing from a place to another on the rugged mountain side. You can also go to the Dawa-tso. This is a lake also known for its beauty. The road passes the 4900m Nor Chung-la, which is about 43kms north of Tsochen. The lake is situated right here. The next 60km of the route sees a range of attractive valleys. Sometimes these valleys are connected by the river and gorge, at other times by minor passes.
