The highway from Golmud to Lhasa re-construction accomplished
With investment of 1.159 billion yuan, the re-construction project of Qinghai-Tibet highway from Golmud to Lhasa started on Jannuary of 2008. Recently, the re-construction has been accomplished. The whole road covered totally more than 530 KM. The travel time from Golmud to Lhasa is two hours shorter than in the past.
