Xining-Lhasa air route is opened by Sichuan Airlines

Recently, Qinghai-Tibet tourism has become hot in international tourist market with the opening of Qinghai-Tibet railway. Xining, capital city of Qinghai Province hare similarities in many aspects with Tibet in religion, culture, daily life, and customs, etc. since it is the hub of traveling in and out of Tibet from ancient times.

Sichuan Airlines opened the Xining-Lhasa air route on Oct. 11, which departs from Xining at 10:00 and arrives in Lhasa at 12:30. The return flight departs at 13:20 and arrives in Xining at 15:30. Its opening could ease the pressure on the Xining-Chamdo route as well as save time for passengers.
