Tour Itinerary 

Day 01 Arrive in Lhasa, get the first impression of Tibet
Highlights: Spectacular scenery and typical Tibetan villages along the way.
Welcome to Tibet! Upon arrival be picked up and transferred to the hotel. Better not do any activities at the first day in order to acclimatize Tibet environment. Better to drink some water and have a good sleep for next day’s holy sightseeing excursion.
 
Day 02 Lhasa highlights escorted tour [B]
Highlights: Wind your way up through the Potala, join the shuffling, murmuring pilgrims around the shrines of the Jokhang and souvenir shopping at Barkor
Visit Potala, which was constructed in 637 by Songtsen Gampo, the first king of the united Tibet and later reconstructed and served as the winter residence of the Dalai Lamas. And go for a tour to world heritage site of the Jokhang Temple (world heritage site), and then Barkor Street Market which is a big free market with its prolific stalls for selling local specialties around the temple, you could buy some presents for your friends or your families there.
 
Day 03 Lhasa/Gyangtse (alt.4040m)/Shigatse (alt.3850m) [B+L+D]
Highlights: fabulous scenery of turquoise Lake and Karola glacier, Palkhor Temple (optional)
In the morning drive to Gyantse along the Kyichu River. On the Kamba La (4.796 m) have a fantastic view of the holy lake Yamdrok (4441 m), one of the three holy lakes in Tibet and the largest habitat of waterfowls in south Tibet. Then continue to Gyantse, you can enjoy Ningjinkangsang Snow Mountain and Karola Glacier from a distance on the way as well. Upon arrival in Gyantse, have a stop in Palkhor Temple for around one hour, if you would like to have a visit (self-paid), you could go and the guide will be with you. If you don’t, you could stroll in this ancient town at leisure. After that, continue to Shigatse, the second largest city in Tibet, have the view of the famous fertile farmers’ land.
 
Day 04 Shigatse/Tingri (alt.4300m)/EBC (alt.5200m) [B+L+D]
Highlights: Take in the magnificent views of the north face of Mt. Everest
In the morning the guide takes about some time to issue the group the second travel permit (PSB) or the guide may do it on the arrival day if time permit. The PSB permit is a must travel document for the visit to Mt. Everest. Then visit Tashilumpu Monastery. After the visit, drive further in to the mountains to get to Mt. Everest Base Camp via Tingri. The road condition to the Base Camp is rough; stay overnight at Rongbuk Guesthouse, the accommodation tonight is a little simple.
 
Day 05 EBC/Shigatse [B+L+D]
Highlights: Mt. Everest, Rongbuk Monastery (optional), Scenery on the way
From the arrival day till today you will have the best view of Mt. Everest in any way. Get up earlier and enjoy the stunning view of the mountain Himalayas and maybe the sunrise if weather permits. Have a stop in Rongbuk Monastery (optional visit, self-paid), the highest monastery in the world. Then we will drive back to Shigatse city, upon arrival, leisure time at your disposal.
 
Day 06 Shigatse/Lhasa [B+L]
Highlights: Scenery on the another way to Lhasa, upon arrival catch the famous debate sessions of the monks in Sera monastery
Today early breakfast and drive back from Shigatse to Lhasa, for the purpose of catching the famous debate sessions of the monks in Sera monastery. Sera monastery, which was created in 1419 and has always been an important Buddhist seminary. As rose are planted everywhere in the monastery, it is also called “the court of wild rose”. Today still 200 lamas live in there.
 
Day 07 Finish this unforgettable tour [B]
Highlights: Scenery on the way and say goodbye 
Free time in the morning, after lunch departure transfer to see off, tour services end and Tibet welcome you back forever.
 
Surcharge will be applied to the following situations:
1.       we pick up the clients at the airport once at 14:40 per group (included in the quotation)
2.       we see off the clients to the airport once at 12:00 per group (included in the quotation)
3.       If you want to have your own flight time or departure place, an individual/separate transport and the express charge for the permits with other extra charge would be provided. Following is our price for those:
