Opening hours are 09:00-20:00 from Monday to Saturday and 10:00-18:00 at Sunday. Some big hotels also provide postal service. Besides the post offices and big hotels, you can also make long distance calls from small stores or telephone boxes on the roadside. Internet cafes are also spreading to every corner of Lhasa. You can find them easily.

Banks
Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China and China Construction Bank all have branches in Lhasa city, but only the Bank of China can provide credit card service. You should carry enough cash while traveling in Tibet. Besides, you can deposit your money in China Post, which has many branches throughout Tibet.

Since Tibet is less developed than metropolis, you should prepare well before arriving. Ask your agent for detailed information. Also remember to respect local customs when you are in Tibet, especially when visiting monasteries and temples
