This year, Nyingchi Peachblossom Festival will start in middle March and last till the end of March, according to a recommendation conference as well as winter tourism promotion conference for Nyingchi.

10 kilometers away from Bayi Township of Nyingchi County, the Gala Village covers a total area of 500 mu and is famous for its beautiful peachblossom. Since 2002, Nyingchi Peachblossom Festival has offered tourists traditional folk performances, competitions as well as the peachblossom and snowy mountains.

Currently, there are eight star-level hotels in Nyingchi Prefecture and local government will ensure tourists' accommodation by taking different measures, according to an official from Nyingchi Tourism Bureau.
