Food:
The dry beef and the dry mutton are very famous in Yamdrok Yumtso. It is said that they are tributes in ancient period . It is very delicious .

Accommodation:
You can stay at the hotel of the bureau of grain in Nangarze County for 25 yuan a bed.

Transportation:
You can take a bus or rent a car in Lhasa and it costs you about two hours to cover the 100 kilometers distance. If you go there by bus, you may stop at the Great Bridge of the Yarlung Tsangpo River, then visit Yamdrok Yumtso by Taxi. Generally speaking , renting a jeep for six people may cost you 1,500 to 2,000 Yuan a day.

Ticket:

Free admission fee. It will be much more expensive to rent a jeep and Taxi can not reach there if the road condition is not well. Many travel agencies organize a one-day trip to Yamdrok Yumtso in Lhasa.     

Tips:

 Don't go to Yamdrok Yumtso in rainy days, or you will see nothing in such weather.You'd better use suntan oil to go outside because the ultraviolet light is very strong . In order to keep warm, please bring enough clothes in winter.
