At Shigatse walk through the massive Tashilungpo monastery and visit the memorial 'Chorten' of the late Panchen Lama. At the high plains of Old Tingri to meet up with the trek crew and start trekking to North Everest Base Camp. The trek will take you up the historic expedition route from Old Tingri to Rongbuk Monastery crossing the Langma La pass (16,900 ft). Later hike up to the North Everest Base Camp and explore the Rongbu glacier set directly below the massive north-face of Mount Everest. Day03 Lhasa sightseeing

Day04 Lhasa / Yumbulakang /Trundruk monastery
Morning drive to Tsedang, located by Yarlung Valley, is the capital of Shannan Prefecture. It is reputed as "the cradle of Tibetan Civilization. In the afternoon visit Yumbulakang Palace and Trundruk Monastery. Overnight at Tsedang.
Day05 Tsedang / Samye Monastery
Today ferry Yaluzangpu River Samya Monastery which is the first one built in the 7th century and has three buildings with different styles (Tibetan Hans and India), Overnight at Tsedang.
Day06 Tsedang / Yamdrok Lake / Shigatse
Up to Kambala pass which is 4794m high, you will have a glimpse of Yamdrok-tso there. It is one of the three holy lakes in Tibet. Then drive back to Chushul, along Nepal friendship way to Shigatse, visit Tashilunpo Monastery and the spectacular tombs of Panchen Lamas in the afternoon. Overnight at Shigatse.
Day07 Shigatse/ Lhatse/ New Tinggri (Shegar
Early morning start driving to Rongphu via Shegar. On the way you will cross over Gyatsola Pass at 5,220 m, which is the highest enroute, and from the pass you will see the Himalaya mountain ranges in a clear day.
Rongphu is the highest monastery in Tibet, still a good point to see Mt.Everst. Afternoon start trekking from Rongphu to E.B.C, it takes about 2 hours. Or you can take animal carriage ( 30RMB/per person,round-trip). Overnight at New Tingri
Day08 Tingri/ Rongphu/ Shigatse
If you are lucky enough, you can see the sunrise at E.B.C.About noon time, start driving back to Shigatse. Overnight at Shigatse.
Day09 Shigatse / Gyantse / Lhasa
After breakfast, drive to Gyantse, only 90km far from Shigatse. You will visit the famous stupa - Gyantse Kumpum, the most stunning architectural wonder in Tibet. Afternoon drive back to Lhasa along the friendship way. Overnight at Lhasa.
Day10 Lhasa airport dropping off
Morning Airport dropping off,ending the happy trip.
