Detailed Itinerary

Day01: Chengdu/Nyingtri-Pomi(216km, 3hours driving, asphalt road in good condition, 2740m)
Taking the plane from Chengdu to Nyingtri at 07:30am and getting to there around 09:15am, arrange the credential, head forward to the Nyingtri Cypress Forest which has 2600 years long, pass through the Sela area then head for the aboriginal forest-Lulang Forests. Under the perennial un-thawed snow mountain, there are illimitable forest,in autumn,when the green leaves turn red, it looks like xanadu which will make you linger and are not willing to go and do not know whether you are on the earth or in the sky.

Day02: Pomi/Rawok lake (163km, 2hours driving, asphalt road in good condition, 2600m)
After get up, head for the Ranwtso Lake which is situated at the southwest 89km Basu County. Rawok Lake is the main headstream of the Yarlung Tsangpo River confluent. On the north of it is the famous Laigu Glacier which extends to the lakeside. When the ice and snow melt, the grue inpour into the lake which is the plenty wellspring of Ranwu Lake. At the side of the lake, there are grassy land and plant; It is the same with the middle of the mountain. On the top of the mountain,there are unthawed cascaded snow.

Note:If you head for the Lagu Glacier, buy the entrance and change Vehicles fee by yourselves.

Day03: Rawok lake/Pomi
Get up early, you can take the photo of the sunrise in Ranwu River, then head for Midui Glacier which is conbined by two world-class waterfall,in the middle of the two waterfalls, there is a boundless aboriginal forest. During this trip,there are bounless forests, Spiral lanneret,snow mountains,lakes,farmland,hamlet,especially the beautiful rurality of the Midui Village which make you linger in it ever want to get out.

Day04: Pomi/Niyang River/Bayi
After breakfast, head for the conjunction of Niyang River and Yarlung Tsangpo River, visit the spectacular of the flowing water which you may see the plaint the majesty, grandness and superb of the nature. After seeing, pass through the charming and gentle Niyang Riverside, head for the dock to ride the barge. On the both sides, there are the thickly dotted aboriginal forests, continuous snow mountain with the fabulous scenery, you also can overlook the cradle of the Benjiao---Benri Holy Mountain. During the way,to enjoy Qujiaowu Temple, Fozhang dene, the lake pine tree, at last get to the Yarlun Tsangpu Valley Rukoupai Town. We have arranged the special trekking tour for you which heads for one of the best touring sites in Mt. Nanjiabawa ---Daduka. If the weather is good, you will have a chance to have a look of the famous Mt. Nanjiabawa(buy the Niyang touring site entrance by yourself)                                    Overnight at Bayi

Day05: Bayi Town/Barksum-tso/Lhasa ( 470km, 7hours driving, asphalt road in good condition, 2600m) 
Morning to visit the Guangdong-Tibet Aided Base, enjoy the Southeast Pontlevis Valley and the Small Switzerland in Tibet---Darksum-tso which looks like one crescent inlayed in the valley, 12km long, hundreds of kilometers wide, with the area of 6000mu. With the yellow duck, white crane,fish, water with the beautiful inverted image  Which make the lake fabulous. After enjoying the beauty, drive back to Lhasa.

Day06:Visiting the famous Potala palace, Jokhang temple and Barkhor street
In the morning section, you are going to visit the famous Patala palace, which is the land mark of lhasa and is recently considered one of the seven wonders of the world. Afternoon section, visiting Jokhang temple, built mainly for the"Jowoe" bring along with princess Wencheng from Xi'an during Tang dyansty and is grouped into world cultural heritage list by the UNESCO. Then exploring the famous old barkhor street, enjoing shoping traditional Tibetan things around the street.

Day07: Sera monastery and Drepung monastery
Drepung monastery is situated at the foothill of a mountain and was founded by Jamyang Choeje in 1416. the monastery is divided into two different colleges that is Drepung loselling and Drepung Gomang college.
In the afternoon exploring the Sera monastery which was founded in 1419 by Tsongkapa's disciple Jamchen Choeje. The whole monastery is divided into two colleges and there are Sera 'jhe' and Sera'may' respectively.you can also see monks debaiting there in the courtyard at around 6-7:30 in the afternoon section.
Note: if you don’t feel tired, you can try for the khora(circumambling around) Drepung and sera monastery.Your tour guide and driver will drop you back to your hotel.

Day08 Lhasa/Yangpachen hotspring/Namtso Lake (220km, 4 hours driving, asphalt road in good condition)

After break, We leave Lhasa to Namtso Lake. Nyenchen Thanglha snow mountain ranges appear in front of you all the way.

Possible activity in summer: you could play at the grassland, visit the nomad family, go into the tent to drink fresh yak milk, play with the Sheep, Yaks. Wandering on the glass land, ride horses. Namtso Lake is the Heavenly lake which is one of the three holy lakes of Tibet and also the highest salt lake. You can do a relax trekking around the lake side and Tashi Island.

To spend a night at lake shore is fantastic, the night sky is so clean that you could see all the stars twinkling on the sky, so close to you as if you could stretch you hands to pick the stars. Namtso lake is actually the lake in the sky, it is about 5000m high lies on the highest plateau in the world.

Day09 Namtso/Shigatse (560km, 4hours driving)(B)
Enjoy the clear morning at the lake shore, you can trek along the lake shore to Tashi Dor Island  to explore the meditation caves. drive to Dumxung to have lunch.
In the afternoon, drive to Shigatse.
Overnight in Lhasa

Day10 Shigatse/ Lhatse/ Tingri (Shegar)/Tingri/ Rongphu Monastery
Visit Tashilunpo Monastery while the tour guide taking your passport to PSB to register, at about 10 am, drive westwards the Friendship way to Tingri. On the way you will pass the checking point with your TTB permit, travel permit and passport, and purchase the entrance of Everest Base Camp.
There is about 90km bumpy road from Tingri to Rongpuk, road is under construction. From Tingri to E.B.C with the very rough road, pass the wild grassland, cross the rapids river and high mountains. If it is in clear whether, you can have a glimpse of 4 mountains which is 8000m high or more, such as: Mt. Lhotse(8516m),Mt. Everes(8848m), Mt. Qowowuyag(8201m),Mt Mayalu(8463m).
Overnight at Rongphu Monastery Tent

Day11 Rongphu Monastery/Evrest Base Camp/ Tingri/ Shigatse
Early in the moring to see the sunrise from Rongphu then to view Mt. Everest. It is fabulous and splendid.After walking arrive the place get on the animal carriage then use half of an hour arrive at Everest Base camp ( Or you also can trekking to Base Camp around 1.5-2 hours one way. It's interesting and much more warm, but hard to breath). Hiking up to the top of the photo point to take pictures of the splendid- Mt. Everest. Then late in the afternoon around 13:00 go down from E.B.C back to Tingri by friend-ship highway back to Shigaste.

Day12 Shigatse/Yamdrotso lake/Gyangtse/Lhasa
The most important attraction for today is Yamdro-tso Lake and Kubum monastery in Gyantse. Kubum monastery, means 100,000 images in Tibetan, is the town's foremost attraction, The 35m-high chorten (stupa) with its white layers trimmed with decorative stripes and its crown-like golden dome, is awe-inspiring. You can visit every chambers in the monastery. From the top of the pass kangpa-la at 4700m high in clear weather, you can see the fabulous shade of deep turquoise, Yamdro-tso Lake is shaped like coiling scorpion with deep blue in colour.

Day13: Lhasa to Airport, fly to your Next Destination
A private car will take you to the airport for your flight to next destination.
On the other hand, if you prefer to stay longer in China, you can extend your trip to other parts of China like Guilin, Shanghai etc. – if you need, please ask us.
