Introduction:
Lhasa Hotel is the only international four star hotel in Tibet. Just down the road from the hotel is the Norbulingka, the Summer Palace, and only 10 minutes away by car is the center of the Holy City where you can see the mysterious Potala Palace.

It occupies 7-floors and was recently renovated in 1999. The hotel has a range of restaurants that provide Sichuan, Western, Indian and Tibetan food.

Lhasa Hotel has 455 well-designed, cozy guest rooms, including standard rooms, single rooms,luxurious rooms, Tibetan suites, and a presidential suite. ( Nonsmoking rooms are also available. ) There are 19 Tibetan rooms on the 5th floor of the south wing. Guest rooms come equipped with:IDD, satellite closed-circuit TVs, refrigerators, mini-bars, oxygen pillows,and private bathrooms with hair-dryers and bathroom scales. Also available are safe deposit boxes, fresh flowers, a mending and laundry service.

The hotel has a wide range of Chinese , Western ,and Tibetan cuisine to satisfy different tastes .It is our goal to develop the traditional food culture and promote alternatives .

Lhasa Hotel offers excellent meeting and reception facilities, which come well-equipped with audio video equipment, multi-media projectors. Ten conference rooms are available for use by large groups.
