Dezong is a charming Tibetan village which locate in the valley about 140km away from urban Lhasa. The architecture there is characterized by white color; amid the buildings, there is a temple with a golden roof, and the whistled trumpet shell could be heard all day long.

The hot spring pool is divided into two zones-male pool and female pool. Though a flaw on the wall separating the pool, nobody would peep for lust-people there are quite pure.

Dezong Hot Spring is said to have be efficacious in dealing with rheumatism, ulcers and other illnesses. People who are attracted by its reputation come here in an endless stream. It is free for common people nearby and tourists who only take baths once or twice. Tourists who come here specially to bathe in the hot spring can put up at an inn or even camp out in a tent.

Dezong Hot Spring with the history of over 1,400 years and the celestial ground of the Zhigongti Monastery, with a history of over 800 years, remained unchanged. Once you've had enough (if there is such a thing), other worthy attractions are within reach (if you're driving), such as the Zhigongi and Dezong Temples, and Sky burial.
