Itinerary

Day01 Arrive in Beijing
Beijing Airport welcome service by our English tour guide
and driver. Transfer to the hotel, check in the hotel.The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.
(If your flight arrive in Beijing in the morning, the itinerary can be put one day ahead of schedule according to your requirement)

Day02 Beijing City Tour
Pick up at hotel in the morning. Visit the Tiansanmen square(the biggest city square in the world). Then to the Forbidden City, the Imperial Palace in the Ming and Qing dynasties. After lunch to visit Temple of Heaven, the place where the Ming and Qing Emperors worshipped the God of heaven and prayed for good harvest. Then to visit the Summer Palace Overnight on the Train, Enjoy the Peking Opera Show at Liyuan Theatre (Optional) in the evening.

Day03 Beijing Greatwall and Mingtombs
After breakfast, about 8:00 to visit Ming tombs. After lunch visit the Badaling Great Wall. Badaling section is the most famous and best-preserved wall. Enjoy a famous Peking Duck Banquet (Optional) for dinner. Then transfer to the train station, take overnight train to Xian

Day04 Xian one day city tour
Today, you will discover the ancient Xian city, visit City Wall, Shaanxi Historical Museum, Terracotta Warriors and Big Wild Goose Pagoda.

Day05 Tibet Train to Lhasa
Get on new Lhasa express train to Tibet in the morning, star the skyroad trip.

Day06 Arrive in Lhasa
Today, you will have a wonderful window excursion along Qinghai-Tibet Railway, you will see land of snows, desert, grassland, Ice Mountain and travel along the lakeside which will strongly go to your heart.
Arrive in Lhasa at around 18:38;
Your tour guide will post a sign with your name on it to meet you at the exit of train station. A car will take you to hotel.

Day07 Lhasa city tour
Visiting Potala Palace and Jokhang monastery and Barkhor street
Today, you are going to visit the famous Patala palace, which is the land mark of lhasa and is recently considered one of the seven wonders of the world. And visit Jokhang temple, built mainly for the "Jowoe" bring along with princess Wencheng from Xi’an during Tang dyansty and is grouped into world cultural heritage list by the UNESCO. Then exploring the famous old Barkhor Street, enjoing shoping traditional Tibetan things around the street.

Day08: Lhasa City Tour
Visiting Norbulingka and Drepung monastery
Norbulingkha is Tibetan word refers to “treasure garden” lies at western suburbs of Lhasa with 2km from Potala Palace is listed as the world cultural heritage by the UNESCO. The Norbulingkha is called summer palace and built by the seventh Dalai lama in mid 18th century. Later then the successive dalai lamas studied and stay during summer time.
Afternoon section visiting Drepung monastery is situated at the foothill of a mountain and was founded by Jamyang Choeje in 1416. the monastery is divided into two different colleges that is Drepung loselling and Drepung Gomang college. The Ganden podrang is famous among them as it is the government centre during fifth Dalai lama and later moved to the famous Potala palace during fifth Dalai lama.

Day09: Lhasa/Namtso Lake (220km, 4 hours driving, asphalt road in good condition)
In the morning around 08:00am, our guide and driver pick you up from your hotel, then we leave Lhasa to Namtso Lake. Nyenchen Thanglha snow mountain ranges appear in front of you all the way, Today, your will have enough time to play at the grassland, visit the nomad family, go into the tent to drink freash yak milk, play with the Tibetan Children, and Sheeps, Yaks. Wandering on the glass land, ride horses.Namtso Lake is the Heavenly lake which is one of the three holy lakes of Tibet and also the highest salt lake. You can do a very relax trekking around the lake side and Tashi Island.
To spend a night at lake shore is fantastic, the night sky is so clean that you could see all the stars twinkling on the sky, so close to you as if you could stretch you hands to pick the stars. Namtso lake is actually the lake in the sky, it is about 5000m high lies on the highest plateau in the world.

Day10 Namtso/Yangpachen hotspring/Lhasa (220km, 4hours driving)
Enjoy the clear morning at the lake shore, you can trek along the lake shore to Tashi Dor Island  to explore the meditation caves. drive to Dumxung to have lunch.
In the afternoon, you will visit Yangpachen hot spring on the way back to Lhasa.
Yangpachen is an 'electricity town' built around a thermal power plant 87 kilometers ( 54 miles) north of Lhasa, halfway to Damxung. The altitude is 4,300 meters ( 14,100 feet). Yangpachen borders on a flat area of hot springs covering 16 square kilometers ( six square miles). Steam and geysers can be seen rising from the plain. It is famous for its richness in terrestrial heat. Yangpachen owns not only common hot springs and fountains, but also various geysers, boiling springs, and hot-water lakes, which is rare in the world. Now it has a thermoelectricity plant, green houses, and hot spring baths, attracting more and more tourists.

Day 11 Fly from Lhasa to Chongqing, board the Yangtze Cruise
Fly from Lhasa to Chongqing, upon your arrival, your Chongqing Tour guide and private car will take you to go through modern ChongQing city, the explore the modern river bridge and some Chongqing Grand Meeting Hall, etc., Board the ship from 5:00pm to 8:00pm and departs Chongqing at 10:00pm.(Dinner is not included)

Day 12 Place & Transport: Yangtze
Today's Activities: Cruise pier Transfer (Yangtze), Shore excursion to Fengdu Ghost City (8:00-10:00am).
Fengdu is where the devil lives, according to Chinese legend. They say that spirits go to heaven, and evil goes to Fengdu. The town is overlooked by Ming Shan Hill, home of Tianzi, the King of the Dead. The whole place has an eerie feel to it with deserted streets, tower blocks, empty shops and banks. The only people here are those who make a living from visiting cruise boats.

Day 13 Place & Transport: Yangtze
Today's Activities: Cruise pier Transfer (Yangtze), Shore excursion to Shennong Stream(1:30pm-5:30pm).You also have the option of visiting the White Emperor City(260RMB per person).
--Shennong Stream is another tributary of the Yangtze River, and its fast-flowing, crystal clear water runs southwards through deep gorges. The stream races past large and small karst caves, flocks of swallows, sheer cliffs, deep gorges, waterfalls, three-colored springs, rapids, the ancient plank path, a suspended coffin in the cliff, groups of ancient tombs and marvelous karst formations.

Day 14 Place & Transport: Yangtze to Yichang to Departure City
Today's Activities: Cruise pier Transfer (Yichang), Airport Transfer (Yichang), Shore excursion to The Three Gorges Dam Site. Arrive in Yichang at 1:00pm.
--Three Gorges Dam, the largest water conservancy project ever undertaken by man and it has been a dream for several generations of Chinese people. The construction of the dam formally began in 1994. The body of the dam was completed in 2003, and the whole construction will be competed in 2009. It will be 2,335 meters long, 185 meters high, 18 meters wide on the top and 130 meters wide at the bottom.The tourists can get access to the top of the dam and enjoy different kinds of photo opportunities.

Day 15 Leave Yichang to you next destination
Check out the Cruise, a private car will take you to the airport for your flight to next destination.
On the other hand, if you prefer to stay longer in China, you can extend your trip to other parts of China like Guilin, Shanghai etc. – if you need, please ask us.
