You will be taken on a group tour to the Great Wall, the most famous symbol of China and one of the world&rsquo;s most remarkable architectural wonders. This section was first built during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 AD). Then you will visit to the Ming Tomb the burial site of the emperor Wanli, the 13th emperor of the Ming Dynasty who ruled for 48 years until his death in 1620.</p> <p align="left"><strong>Day 03: Sightseeing in Beijing<br /> </strong>Today you will first visit the historic Tiananmen Square which is the largest city square in the world and the spiritual heart of China, and then the magnificent Forbidden City which located in the center of Beijing and used to be the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties with a history of around 600 years.<br /> In the afternoon, you will visit the fine Summer Palace and Temple of Heaven. Summer Palace was an imperial summer resort of the Qing Dynasty. it is the most splendid classical garden in China.The Temple of Heaven is a royal sacred site where prayers for good harvests, prosperity and harmonious life are offered. <br /> <strong>In the evening you board overnight train to Lhasa</strong></p> <p><strong>Day 04-05: Sightseeing through the train window, Arrival Lhasa</strong><br /> Two full day window sightseeing along Qinghai-Tibet Railway, you will see land of snows, desert, immense grassland, ice &ndash;mountain, beautiful lakes which will strongly go to your heart.<br /> Arrive in Lhasa in the afternoon. You are warmly welcome to Tibet by saying Tashi Delek at the Train station by our professional employee and send you to reserved hotel in Lhasa. Then have a good rest to acclimatize the high altitude in the afternoon.</p> <p><strong>Day 06 Lhasa Sightseeing</strong><br /> Morning section to visit the famous Potala palace and explore the grandest of this myriad chapels, you will experience its audience halls, the jeweled and Golden burial chortens(stupa Tombs) of past Dalai Lamas, and tremendous number of Buddhist frescoes, thangkas, combinations of mandala etc. Afternoon visiting to the holist temple in Tibet, the Johkang Temple, built during songtsen gonpo&rsquo;s reign by princess wencheng of tang dynasty, 647 A.D, and its famous Barkor Kora, where you can buy or appreciate traditional Tibetan artifacts, religious implements, antiques, books, Tibetan music instrument, Thangkas, and tradition tibetan clothes etc. you will have chance to get close to appreciate how the artists draw Thangkas at the Thakangka workroom at Barkor. Tibet Museum is an important window to introduce the glorious culture of Tibet, as a free Museum in Lhasa, you should not miss it.</p> <p><strong>Day 07 Lhasa Sightseeing<br /> </strong>Today, you will visit two important monasteries in Lhasa, the Drepung and the Sera. <br /> Drepung monastery is situated at the foothill of a mountain and was founded by Jamyang Choeje in 1416. It was once home of 10000 monks and Ganden podrang in Drepung is famous it was the government centre during fifth dalai lama and later moved to the famous potala palace during fifth dalai lama.then you will visit the Carpet Factory, you can see how the world-famous Tibetan carpets are made. After having lunch, continue to visit the Sera Monastery, which was founded in 1419 by Tsongkapa&rsquo;s disciple Jamchen Choeje. The most attractive is that Monks debiting is held there in the courtyard at around 6-7:30 in the afternoon section most of the time.</p> <p><strong>Day08 </strong><strong>Lhasa/Namtso Lake (220km, 4 hours driving, asphalt road in good condition)(B)</strong><br /> In the morning around 08:00am, our guide and driver pick you up from your hotel, then we leave Lhasa to Namtso Lake. Nyenchen Thanglha snow mountain ranges appear in front of you all the way. In summer(May to August), the sheepherders and their family move to grassland and set up their tents, you could see green grassland, groups of sheep and yaks, nomad tents by the road.</p> <p>Namtso Lake is the Heavenly lake which is one of the three holy lakes of Tibet and also the highest salt lake. You can do a very relax trekking around the lake side and Tashi Island.To spend a night at lake shore is fantastic, the night sky is so clean that you could see all the stars twinkling on the sky, so close to you as if you could stretch you hands to pick the stars. Namtso lake is actually the lake in the sky, it is about 5000m high lies on the highest plateau in the world.</p> <p><strong>Day09</strong><strong> Namtso/Yangpachen hotspring/Lhasa (220km, 4hours driving)(B)</strong><br /> Enjoy the clear morning at the lake shore, you can trek along the lake shore to Tashi Dor Island to explore the meditation caves.Drive to Dumxung to have lunch.<br /> In the afternoon, you may enjoy Yangpachen hot spring(Optional, hot spring fee does not included in price) on the way back to Lhasa.</p> <p><strong>Day10 Lhasa to Shangri-la by air</strong><strong> (B)</strong><br /> Fly to Shangrila, meet your local guide and transfer to the hotel. After lunch, you will be relax in Dukezong Ancient Town, which was an important town of the Ancient Tea Horse Trade Caravan in the past. Walk to the top of Guishan Hill Park and enjoy the panoramic view of Shangrila, as well as the Giant Prayer Wheel. At night, you can dance with local people in Sifang Square. <br /> <br /> <strong>Day11 Shangri-la</strong><strong>(B,L)</strong><br /> Cycle to visit Songzanlin Monastery in the morning, Cycle around Napahai Lake in the afternoon;Napahai Lake (Napa Hai) is 3270 meters (10,728 ft.) above sea level and covers 660 square kilometers (254 square miles). Approximately 8 kilometers northwest of Shangri-La, the lake fills up a valley surrounded on three sides by mountains which are covered in snow during winter and spring time.<br /> <br /> <strong>Day12 </strong><strong>Shangrila-100KM-Tiger leaping Gorge-100KM-Lijiang </strong><br /> After two days sightseeing in Shangri-la, we will drive to Lijiang today, Visit the First Bend of the Yangtze River, ShiguTown and Tiger Leaping Gorge.<br /> From Shangri-La, we'll drive about 100KM to the Tiger Leaping Gorge, the deepest gorge in the world. After lunch continue the driving 50KM more to visit the First Bend on the Yangtze River with imposing gorge scenery, and the Iron Chain Bridge in the Stone Drum town. The town of Stone Drum got its name from a large, cylindrical, marble tablet shaped like a drum.The scenery is magnificent as the road running through the Lijiang valley which is filled with wheat fields and drying haystacks. Drive 60KM more to Lijiang. Explore Lijiang Old Town at night.</p> <p><strong>Day13 </strong><strong>Lijiang-30km-Jade Dragon Snow Mountain-Lijiang </strong><br /> We'll visit Ganhaizi Meadow, Baishui River; visit the Yak Meadow(3700M) in the Yulong Snow Mountain by chairlift. The Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is the second highest mountain in Yunnan Province,about 5596 meters high, which is a holy mountain or Naxi ethnic people.Access to the Yak Meadow by a chairlift,walk about 500 meters to the Lamaist Monastery,and walk around the meadow to see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.<br /> In the afternoon, we'll stroll through Baisha Village, which is an enchanting traditional Yunnan village,Visit the Baisha Mural about 600 years old; After Baisha,we'll head for the scenic Black Dragon Pool and the Dongba Museum to explore the rich Naxi minority culture.</p> <p><strong>Day14 </strong><strong>Lijiang-183KM Dali</strong> <br /> After breakfast, travel (200 km - 4 hrs) south on the old road to the ancient city of Dali, Dali, a historically and culturally famous city of China, is renowned for her historical interest. If this day happens to fall on a Monday we will call in at Shaping for a visit to the colourful Bai market. <br /> In Dali we will visit the Three-pagoda in Chongshen Temple, which is a typical historical symbol of Yunnan. It is also one of the oldest sublime architecture in South China. At last, we will walk around the Old Dali Town, which is located at the foot of Cangshan Mountain.<br /> <strong><br /> Day 15 Dali to Kunming by train </strong><br /> In the morning, We'll travel in the Erhai Lake by boat and visit Jinsuo Island. After landing, we will head for Xizhou Town to fully appreciate Bai-style architecture, taste their fragrant three-course tea and explore their distinctive culture. At last,you will visit Zhoucheng Town, and Bai people's Tie-Dyed Cloth Work Shop. At night we will take the Train to Kunming.</p> <p><strong>Day16 Kunming</strong><br /> Drive 90km to Stone Forest (called Shi Lin in Chinese). There is a saying &quot;it is a waste of time without being in Stone Forest while visiting Kunming&quot;. It is the most remarkable nature phenomena, which is consisting of innumerable bizarre shaped ancient limestone cliffs and peaks created by wind and water erosion some 270 million year ago. <br /> After lunch drive back Kunming , we will take a leisurely stroll along the Green Lake, a charming area of teahouses and small boutiques selling handicrafts and beautiful local paintings.
