Day by Day Itinerary

Day01 Arrive in Beijing
Beijing Airport welcome service by our English tour guide
and driver. Transfer to the hotel, check in the hotel. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.
Overnight in Beijing, standard twin room, 3 star hotel
 
Day02 Beijing City Tour, Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven
Pick up at hotel in the morning. Visit the Tiansanmen Square(the biggest city square in the world). Then to the Forbidden City, the Imperial Palace in the Ming and Qing dynasties. After lunch to visit Temple of Heaven, the place where the Ming and Qing Emperors worshipped the God of heaven and prayed for good harvest. Then to visit the Summer Palace , Enjoy the Peking Opera Show at Liyuan Theatre (Optional) in the evening.

Day03 Beijing Greatwall and Mingtombs
After breakfast, about 8:00 to visit Ming tombs. After lunch visit the Badaling Great Wall. Badaling section is the most famous and best-preserved wall. Enjoy a famous Peking Duck Banquet (Optional) for dinner.

Day04 Beijing to Lhasa by flight
By flight from Beijing to Lhasa, You are warmly welcome to Tibet by saying Tashi Delek at airport by your tour guide and an experienced driver and send you back to your well reserved hotel. Then have a good rest to acclimatize the high altitude in the afternoon.

Day05 Lhasa Sightseeing: Potala Palace/Jokhang Temple/Barkhor Street
Morning section to visit the famous Potala palace and explore the grandest of this myriad chapels, its audience halls, the jeweled and Golden burial chortens(stupa Tombs) of past Dalai Lamas, and tremendous number of Buddhist frescoes, thangkas, combinations of mandala, figures of the Buddha. Made of precious metal.
Afternoon section visiting to the holist temple in Tibet, the Johkang Temple, built during songtsen gonpo’s reign by princess wencheng of tang dynasty, 647 A.D. The inner circuit is also situated inside the temple and is lined with prayer-wheel and murals outlined in gold on red background, which depict the thousand buddhas, interspersed with stupas and relief-images. Johkang is circuit.

The circular pilgrim route around Jokhang temple is called barkhor and later flourished, forming the embryo of the city. The barkhor market itself is the most active in all tibet,and it is possible to purchase traditional Tibetan artifacts, religious implements, antiques, books, Tibetan music instrument, Thangkas, and tradition tibetan clothes etc. Overnight at Lhasa

Day06 Lhasa Sightseeing: Sera Monastery/Drepung Monastery
Drepung monastery is situated at the foothill of a mountain and was founded by Jamyang Choeje in 1416. It was once home of 10000 monks and Ganden podrang in Drepung is famous it was the government centre during fifth dalai lama and later moved to the famous potala palace during fifth dalai lama. By the time you can also vist the Nechung monastery located 1km southeast of Drepung and is the abode of the protector deity pehar and the seat of the state Oracle of Tibet.
In the afternoon exploring the Sera monastery which was founded in 1419 by Tsongkapa's disciple Jamchen Choeje. The most attractive is that Monks debiting is held there in the courtyard at around 6-7:30 in the afternoon section. Overnight at Lhasa (Notice, the sequence of sightseeing of first two days may be adjusted according to the reservation of visiting Potala Palace)

Day07 Fly to Kathmandu,Kathmandu Valley half a day Tour
Spectacular flight to Kathmandu passing right over Mount Everest and many of the highest peaks in the world, your Nepalese tour guide and driver will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. The tour guide will help you check into the reserved hotel and introduce your daily activities in Kathmandu.

Half day sightseeing tour (Pashupathinath, Boudhanath and Paten)
After breakfast, your Nepalese tour guide will take you to the major sightseeing places in Kathmandu. you will see historic monuments, temples, monasteries, palaces and UNESCO World Heritage Sites like and Boudhanath, Hindu temples of Pashupatinath.

At Boudhanath, you will have an intensive contact into Buddhism. This may make you feel like you have just been to a spiritual journey. When you explore Patan Durbar Square, Mahaboudha Temple, Kumbeshwor temple, Krishna Temple, Golden Temple and many other places of Patan, you will feel as you are in an open museum showcasing intricately carved windows, intrinsic roof struts, statues of gods and goddesses, temples.
After sightseeing, You will also get to see handicraft centre in Patan. Then back to your hotel.

Day08: Kathmandu Valley half a day Tour
After breakfast we take you to Bhaktapur, where you will experience unique culture and finest display of craftsmanship. Bhaktapur is the only place in Nepal which has not been touched by western culture. Lion Gate, Golden Gate, Art Gallery, Statue of King Bhupatindra, Nyatapola Temple and fifty-five windowed Malla Palace are the living prides of Bhaktapur and you will tour around all these places. Back to your hotel in the afternoon.
 
Day09 Leave Kathmandu to your next destination
Your Nepalese tour guide will take you to the airport for your flight to next destination.
On the other hand, if you prefer to stay longer, you can extend your trip to other parts of Nepal, such as Safari at National parks, rafting, trekking etc. – if you need, please ask us.
