Details Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu. Overnight hotel
 
Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu, you are welcomed by the hospitable meeting and then you will be transferred to your hotel. Our guide will explain briefly the program upon arrival at hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu Valley half a day Tour
Half day sightseeing tour (Pashupathinath, Boudhanath and Paten)
After breakfast, your Nepalese tour guide will take you to the major sightseeing places in Kathmandu. you will see historic monuments, temples, monasteries, palaces and UNESCO World Heritage Sites like and Boudhanath, Hindu temples of Pashupatinath.
At Boudhanath, you will have an intensive contact into Buddhism. This may make you feel like you have just been to a spiritual journey. When you explore Patan Durbar Square, Mahaboudha Temple, Kumbeshwor temple, Krishna Temple, Golden Temple and many other places of Patan, you will feel as you are in an open museum showcasing intricately carved windows, intrinsic roof struts, statues of gods and goddesses, temples
After sightseeing, You will also get to see handicraft centre in Patan. Then back to your hotel.

Day 03: Kathmandu Valley half a day Tour, drive to NAGARKOT (32 KMS). 
After breakfast we take you to Bhaktapur, where you will experience unique culture and finest display of craftsmanship. Bhaktapur is the only place in Nepal which has not been touched by western culture. Lion Gate, Golden Gate, Art Gallery, Statue of King Bhupatindra, Nyatapola Temple and fifty-five windowed Malla Palace are the living prides of Bhaktapur and you will tour around all these places. Drive to NAGARKOT(32 KMS east of Kathmandu city). 
Nagarkot: Situated about 35 km east of Kathmandu city, Nagarkot is the nearest panoramic view point and from here one can see the beautiful view of the Himalayan peaks. The altitude of Nagarkot is 2229-m/7133 ft. above sea level. Eve: Walk around Nagarkot for 1-2 hours.
 
Day04: NAGARKOT/CHITWAN. (225 KMS – 6 HOUR DRIVE).
Scenice drive along the countryside with view of mountain  on side of Trisuli River. (Rafting at Trisuli River Optional 2/3 hours rafting). O/N Lodge.

Day05: IN CHITWAN
Full Day Jungle activities include jungle safari on elephant back, nature walks, jungle drive, canoeing and bird watching in the park having 360 sq. miles of tall grassland and thick forests. We will attempt to search out some of the elusive animals of the Terai, and with the skill of the fully will encounter the one horned Rhino, various types of deer, boar and leopard and if we are very fortunate the elusive tiger.

Overnight at the Resort on Full board.

Day06: CHITWAN/POKHARA (185 km-5 hrs drive approx.)
After breakfast, transfer from Chitwan to Pokhara by surface. Upon arrival in Pokhara check-in at hotel. Rest of the day at leisure walk around lake side. Overnight at hotel.

Day07: Pokhara/Kathmandu (200 kms- 5/6 hours drive).
Breakfast at hotel.
AM: Half day sightseeing tour of Pokhara city and 01 hour Boat ride on Phewa Lake.
Pokhara: It is a beautiful valley which is situated at a height of 2950 ft. with its rare combination of snow clad peaks among the highest in the world, crystal-clear lakes, stream and gorges, picturesque villages inhabited by friendly smiling Gurungs, Magars and other ethnic tribes. The scenery is breathtaking with excellent views of an overwhelmingly beautiful mountain range which includes the Dhaulagiri, The Annapurna I, II & III, Machha Puchhre or "Fish Tail", Lamjung Himal, Manaslu&Himalchuli. In Pokhara's immediate neighborhood are Tibetan villages. Legend has it that there was once a beautiful city in the valley now filled by the lake. One of the most popular excursions is to paddle out the little island offshore from lakeside. On this island there is a small temple. Also visit Local Market, Bindebasini Temple, Mahendra cave, Phewa lake, Tibetan refugee Camp, Davis fall.
PM: Scenic Drive back to Kathmandu.

Day08: Fly to Lhasa from Kathmandu
Spectacular flight to Lhasa from Kathmandu passing right over Mount Everest and many of the highest peaks in the world, Your Tibetan guide will post a sign with your name at the exit of the airport to pick you up, a private car will take you to hotel in lhasa. rest in lhasa to acclimatize.

Day09: Lhasa City Tour
Visiting Jokhang monastery, Potala Palace, Barkhor street
In the morning section, visiting Jokhang temple and its circuit Barkhor, Jokhang built mainly for the "Jowoe" bring along with princess Wencheng from Xi'an during Tang dyansty and is grouped into world cultural heritage list by the UNESCO. Then you are going to visit the famous Patala palace, which is the land mark of lhasa and is recently considered one of the seven wonders of the world. The potala palace is divided into two different parts that is red and white palace.

Day10: Lhasa City Tour
Visiting the famous Drepung monastery and Sera monastery
Drepung monastery was founded by Jamyang Choeje in 1416. The monastery is divided into two different colleges that is Drepung loselling and Drepung Gomang college. The Ganden Podrang is famous among them as it is the government centre during fifth Dalai lama. In the afternoon exploring the Sera monastery which was founded in 1419 by Tsongkapa's disciple Jamchen Choeje. The whole monastery is divided into two colleges and there are Sera 'jhe'and Sera 'may' respectively. Among them "Tsokhang chenmo"where the monks from all the colleges assemble and pray together There. you can also see monks debaiting there in the courtyard at around 6-7:30 in the afternoon section.

Day11 Lhasa/Gyantse
Driving towards Yamdrok-tso and Gyantse Kumbhum monastery (300km) running through a black asphalt highway It is better to leave early in the morning and in about one and half hour way, From the top of Mt.Gangbala,you can see the fabulous shade of deep torquoise. Yamdrok-yutso is shaped like coiling scorpion with deep blue in colour. Leaving yamdrok-tso is a spectacular as arrriving, since you have to cross the 4960m karo-la with its awesome roadside views of the Nanchan- Kangtsang glacier. then reached to our day's final destination Gyantse, visit Kubum monastery which is 35m-high chorten(stupa) with its white layers trimmed with decorative stripes and its crown-like goldendome, is awe-inspiring.you can visit every chambers in the monastery.

Day12 Gyantse/Shigatse/Sakya or Lhatse
Visiting the unique TashiLhunpo monastery(90km), driving through black smooth tar road to Sakya, visit Sakya Monastery, then to Lhatse Visit the famous Tashi lhunpo monastery and is one of the the six great Gelukpa institutions and was founded in 1447 by a disciple of Tsongkapa, Genden drup who was first dalai lama. Jamkhang Chenmo, containing the world's largest gilded copper image(26m high) of future god Jampa.Then in evening you can visit the famous tibetan market below the shigatse Zong. Then drive to Saykya county where the Sakya monastery located, The Sakya tridition is one of the four main Buddhist schools in Tibet. It was from here that the whole of Tibet was governed during the period of Sakya hegemony and even now there are buildings of historic importance to be seen here. You can see the largest book in the world in Sakya's great library written in gold.

Day13 Drive to Rongpuk, Treking to EBC
Driving direct towards the Mount Everest base camp(180km)Rough road upto mount Everest.
Your guide will take you to buy entrance ticket from San chen guesthouse in shekar with 400 yuan per jeep and 180 yuan per person. You can take your lunch from here and drive direct to Everest base camp. From the top of the Gyalpo-la pass you can see the beautiful sun raising from the top of great Himalayan mountains. woh what a superb scenery!!  dont miss to see the scenery.

Overnight in Rongpuk Tent Guest House

Day14 Rongpuk Monastery/Zhangmu
Forwards to Zhangmuand rest a night there(239km),the road condition is very worse with rough bumpy road. Now a days it is under repairing...
The road condition is pretty good as compare to Ali but is still a rough bumpy road from Old Dingri up to Nyalan and then have road a couple of kilometers under construction from Nyalam to Dham(border between Nepal and Tibet) seperated by a bridge called "friendship bridge" Other than mount Everest, you can also see the famous mount "Shishabangma"(8012m) after crossing Nyalam Thongla pass.

Day15 Drive Zhangmu-Kodari-Kathmandu
Our Guide will drop you off at next morning at the border bridge, the Nepal Guide will come to China Side to pick you up in person, Please do not leave your Tibet tour guide until you meet the next guide. Tips: How to Cross the Nepal border
Zhangmu is a small town at around 2400m above sea level, after having breakfast, our guide will accompany you to China Exit Border Office in Zhangmu to register and stamp your leaving. then drive you towards to border bridge. Our vehicle will stop at 50m away from border bridge where the China side border check office is, The Nepal tour guide will go cross the border bridge to China side which is 50ms long to meet you, then you follow the Nepal tour guide to check in Nepal side, then drive you to Kathmandu
 
Day16: KATHMANDU/DEPARTURE
AM: Free for Optional activities (Everest experience flight – Mountain flight over the Himalayas).
Departure Transfer to airport to connect onward flight.
