Yamdrok Yumtso Lake

It is 50 km far from Tsedang Yumtso, meaning dark blue lake looks like jasper, located in Nhagartse County a rout to Gyantse. With an altitude of 4480 meters and a coverage of 638 square kilometers, its shore is as long as 250 kilometers. The lake is about 30-40 meters deep, even 60 meters for the deepest. Yamdroyumtso is one of four holy lakes in Tibet. There are many kinds of fish, so it enjoys the famous Tibetan fish store house.
