Tour Outline:
The trekking is from Old Tingri to the Base Camp of north-face of Mt.Everest. You will accomplish 70 km in 4 whole days on foot; the route of trekking is in a high-elevation region with altitudes ranging between 4400m and 5300m, That must be a challenge for some normal travelers. But on the way to North Everest Base Camp you will have enough time to explore the valleys and glaciers below the massive north-face of Mt. Everest and view the most magnificent world's highest mountain scenery.
More added to the trekking, your journey includes some wonderful sightseeing, ancient architecture, monasteries in the ancient town of Lhasa,Gyantse and Shigatse. Such as the Jokhang and Drepung, allow travelers to experience Tibetan Buddhism. You will also experience the holy lake in snow land – the famous Yamdrotso Lake. What an amazing journey this is!

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Lhasa
Lhasa airport picking up, have a good rest to adopt to high altitude in the afternoon.
Overnight at Lhasa.
Day 2-3 Two full days Lhasa Sightseeing(B)
The first two days you are in Tibet will be put towards sightseeing inside Lhasa, to visit fabulous and typical Buddhist and historic sites, such as Potala Palace,Jokhang Temple,Barkhor street, Sera Monastery and Drepung Monastery.
In Potala palace, you can explore the grandest of this myriad chapels, its audience halls, the jeweled and Golden burial chortens(stupa Tombs) of past Dalai Lamas, and tremendous number of Buddhist frescoes, thangkas, combinations of mandala, figures of the Buddha You will visit 3 important monasteries in Lhasa, the first and foremost is Johkang Temple, the spiritual center of Tibetan Buddhism, attracts pilgrims all over Tibetan Area, built during songtsen gonpo's reign by princess wencheng of tang dynasty, 647 A.D. the other two Monasteries Sera and Drepung Monastery locate in suburb of Lhasa, are hosted by hundreds of Monks, learning, praying, studying, living there. The famous Monks debiting is held in the courtyard of Sera Monastery in the afternoon.
You will also explore the circular pilgrim route barkhor while traveling at Johkang Temple, to contact local folks here, and if possible purchase some traditional Tibetan artifacts, religious implements, antiques, books, Tibetan music instrument, Thangkas, and tradition tibetan clothes etc.

Day 4: Lhasa/Yamdrok-tso lake/Gyantse (3950meters) (B)
We follow the Friendship Highway to Gyantse, up to Kambala pass which is 4794m high, From the top of the pass kangpa-la at 4700m high in clear weather, you can see the fabulous shade of deep turquoise, Yamdro-tso Lake is shaped like coiling scorpion with deep blue in colour. Then drive along the mountain down to Gyangtse, visit the famous stupa - Gyangtse Kumpum, the most stunning architectural wonder in Tibet.
Day 5: Gyangtse/Shigatse/Old Tingri (B)
Morning drive to Shigatse, that is 90km from Gyangtse. Visit Tashilunpo Monastery and the spectacular tombs of Panchen Lamas in Shigatse, then drive by Friendship Hwy to Old Tingri via Lhatse and Shegar. Guide will do preparations for the trek. While You may have a good view of Cho Oyu. Overnight at Old Tingri ( Local Guest house, dorm bed).
Day 6: Trek to Lungthang (4510 m) B,L,D
5 hours/12km/150m up
Our trekking begins Old Tingri go through the Tingri plain. going along apart of the Ra-chu Valley, we will see the beautiful valley scenery with extensive meadows and groups of sheep and goats. Throughout the day we can visit a small gompa in Chholun. Tonight will be spent in a comfortable campsite in Lunthang. This bleak region is home only to herders and barley harvesters.
Day 7 Trek to Lamna La (5150 m) B,L,D
8 hours/21km/200m up
The challenging trekking really starts today as we go up into the mountains. Much uphill walking is done as we climb towards the top of Lamna La. And we Camp beyoud the top of this pass.

Day 8: Trek to Zommug (4790m) B,L,D
In the morning we descend steeply into lush vegetation. The only other people we will encounter are yak herders and their families. Camp will be made in the small village of Zommug. Truly amazing views can be seen as the sun sets in this barren town.
Day 9: Trek to Rongbuk(4980m) and EBC(5100m) B,L,D
On our last day of trekking we will wind our way to the end destination of Rongbuk Everest Base Camp. Along the way we can also visit the Dza Rongbuk monastery and gompas. They are truly ancient sites, but nothing compared to our night camping at Everest Base Camp.
Day 10: Rongpuk/Shegar/Lhtase/Sakya(B)
We drive a short distance from Rongpuk living Area to Lhatse, then follow the freindship high way back to Sakya, You may relax by enjoying the Xiqian hotspring near Lhatse.

Day 11: Sakya to Lhasa(B)
The last program for this trip is visiting the famous Sakya Monastery, The Sakya tridition inside Sakya Monastery is one of the four main Buddhist schools in Tibet. It was from here that the whole of Tibet was governed during the period of Sakya hegemony and even now there are buildings of historic importance to be seen here.
