Walk to Enjoy the Charming Night View of Potala Palace

June,10 2023 BY Tony Yin 0 COMMENTS

When traveling in Tibet, how to spend the time at night in Lhasa with much more low-key and simple night life than other cities of China. How about walk to enjoy the charming night view of Potala Palace, except watching a Tibetan singing and dancing show, tasting snacks around the night market, or finding a decent pub or bar for a drink with friends?

Located at an altitude of over 3700m, the grand Potala Palace, inscribed to the UNESCO World Heritage in 1994, is the world’s tallest palace in the world. It attracts tourists with its traditional Tibetan architecture, splendid artworks, and other cultural and historical religious treasures. The night view of this famous palace is also very attractive and draws a large number of tourists.
