Gyangtse, in the Nyang Chu valley 260km south-west of Lhasa, is becoming particularly famous day by day. The well-known Pelkor Chode Monastery which is famous for its Kumbum Stupa is in Gyangtse. Then, when you travel to Gyangtse, which hotel should you live in and what is the best hotel in Gyangtse?
There are some 3 hotels in Gyangtse and the best of them may well be the Gyantse hotel which is the only 3-star hotel in this town. Looking from the outside of the hotel, it may fail to attract your eyes. But step inside you will see a very spacious lobby. The rooms are comfortable with heating & cooling systems. The rooms are also very clean with plenty amounts of hot water supply. The bed in the room is very soft and comfortable.

Breakfast is normally a buffet, the standard Tibetan foreign tourist fare. There are both Chinese food and western food available in the hotel restaurant and they all taste quite good. The hotel staff are very friendly and the receptionist can speak good English which makes it more convenient for foreign tourists to live in.

As for the price of the hotel, it varies from 300RMB to 400RMB in different seasons and time.
