Tingri is also known as Old Tingri town after New Tingri (Shegar) town is built for the visitors who want to visit Mt. Everest Base Camp. In Old Tingri, the accommodation condition is more poor. Guesthouse is the only choice, no hot water, no heater, which will be the challenge in winter. Hotel booking can not be done in advance until tourists arrive there.
