Tibet Gets Ready For Tourism Wave

 

At present, the occupancy rate of hotels in Lhasa City has reached 70% and Tibet gets ready for the coming tourism wave in May, according to officials of Tibet Tourism Administration.

In order to greet the tourist season, Tibet’s tourism services enterprises such as travel agencies, hotels have fully prepared in facilities to meet needs of a large number of visitors’.

In addition, Tibet government will well arrange the aviation, railway vehicles, as well as Tibet travel supply, while making reasonable and scientific arrangements for tourists to visit the Potala Palace, the most popular scenery spot in Lhasa.

It is predicted that Tibet will entertain more than 10 million visitors this year, and the total tourism revenue will reached 12 billion yuan, according to officials of Tibet Tourism Administration.
