Tibet to Embrace Another Travel Peak During National Day Holiday
Lhasa, capital city of SW China's Tibet Autonomous Region, will embrace the last travel peak as the arrival of the National Day Holiday in the first week of October.
Also, a surge in travel and hotel bookings is reported in travel agencies and hotels.
Statistics indicates Tibet has received a total of 656,916 person times of tourists during the last National Day holiday.
Insiders suggest that tourists make careful arrangements before planning the trip as the travel peak is supposed to continue after the holiday.
Tibet's peak tourist season lasts from April to November, featuring fantastic scenic spots as well as numerous traditional festivals.
