Along with the "school bus management regulations" promulgated, safety of school bus has drawn attentions in Lhasa city. Reporter from Tibet Traveling News took a school bus enjoying a convenient, comfortable and safe journey with students.
Every morning the Rising Star Pre-Schooling Center sends three school buses to pick up children who live all around Lhasa, from urban areas to faraway outskirts.
At 7:40, drivers and accompanying teachers gather in the campus and do some preparations.
"I usually come here ten minutes earlier before the fixed time cause I do not want the children to wait for me," said one driver.
At 7:50, with bus engine sounding, the drive skillfully shifted gears and the bus moved smoothly.
The driver said that it was his obligation to drive safe and take good care of these kids.
At 8:17 the school bus picked up the first child named Kaikai.
"I like taking school bus, sitting with my mates and going to school together," said the boy.
At 9 o'clock, all the children were sitting on the bus and two teachers carefully helped them wear seat belts.
"Thanks to the school bus, my child has a pleasant and safe trip every day," one mother said. "The drivers and accompanying teachers have their responsibility and make parents at ease."
