Tibet permit policy changed again in June of 2012
We just got the latest news on Tibet permits in June 2012 that the Tibet permit policy is changed again in June of 2012. A harsher policy was issued by the government. It was said that non-Chinese foreign tourists are allowed to visit the Tibet from this week, but under tight new restrictions and with new, unexplained stipulations. Following a meeting on Jun 18, the Tibet Tourism Bureau was reported to have decided that permits for foreigners would again begin to be processed from Jun 20.
