Four Useful Tips for Cyclers to Tibet

If you are planning trips to Tibet, you'd better make some preparations.

Tip1:Take sunscreen cream before going out

First of all, choose a suitable waterproof and anti-perspiration sunscreen cream for outdoor sports in Tibet. If you decide to ride to Tibet, you'd better apply the sunscreen 15 to 30 minutes before riding.

With a high altitude and thin air in Tibet, sun here is much stronger. Sunscreen cream of not less than SPF30, PA++ + is recommended.

Tip2:Wear long sleeves and long pants

Cyclers are suggested to wear long sleeves and pants with ultraviolet ray proof function.

A scarf of good permeability can also be very helpful to get rid of dust and protect neck and face against exposures of sunlight. If you take a wet scarf around the neck, you will feel refreshing.

Wear a mesh breathable glove... in simple words, just wrap yourself as much as possible and avoid skin directly under the sunshine for a long time.

Tip3:Wear sun glasses

When cycling on the highway where the sunlight is reflected better than mud and grass, the rider has to see the ground for a long time, in which case, he or she will receive ultraviolet ray into the eyes, even may cause cataracts.

Do wear a pair of sun glasses.

Tip4:Avoid the noon time to go out

In one day, the time between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. is the hottest period in Tibet. Therefore, one is advised not to go out at that time. Or you can change to the dawn and night time, for the daylight time in Tibet is always much longer than other places.
