A Glimpse of Barkhor Street in Lhasa
Centering the Jokhang Temple and having various featured stores scattered along, the Barkhor Street is one of the places where pilgrims and tourists must go in Lhasa, capital city of southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region.
On the street you could buy almost all the Tibetan styled goods you want, such as costumes, utensils and accessories.

Photo shows the prayer wheels installed on the fence in front of the Jokhang Temple. The east entrance of the Jokhang Temple is for tourists and the west one is special for Tibetans to pilgrimage, where there are prayer wheels installed on the fence as decorations, bringing dense religious atmosphere.
Photo shows the gate of a sweet tea house on the Barkhor Street. There are many teahouses dotted on the street, where pilgrims and tourists can enjoy a cup of sweet tea and have a rest.
