The beautiful scenery of Northern Namtso Lake

The Namtso Lake is located in Bangoin County, Nagqu Prefecture acounts for more than two thirds of its whole coverage and is a newly developed attraction of the area. The lake, China's second largest saltwater lake next to the Qinghai Lake in NW China's Qinghai Province, is located at an elevation of 4,718 meters and has a total area of more than 1,920 square km. The lake is currently in process of building itself into a high-end tourism attraction in planned steps, according to regional tourism depertment in Nagqu Prefecture, northern Tibet.
