Tibetan people are busy with New Year purchasing

The first grand Tibetan festival in 2013, the Tibetan New Year or Losar Festival is approaching, thus Tibetan people are busy with New Year purchasing.

Tibetan New Year Shopping
On the Ramoche Monastery Road, more and more Tibetans swarm into shops to buy goods including traditional decorations, clothes, food and other gifts. The busy trades between merchants and customers turn the road into a bustling market place full of holiday atmosphere.

It will last 15 days until Jan. 15th of Tibetan calendar. The Tibetan New Year 2013 will fall on Feb. 11, 2013 in solar calendar.
