1200 years old salterns in east Tibet

At present, there are about 3,000 pieces of 1200 years old salterns in east Tibet. Located at the Langcang River in Naxi Ethnic Village, Mangkam County of Tibet, the ancient folk custom and charming landscape in this saltern village attract many tourists in recent years.

Some tourists visit the salterns in east Tibet.

Villagers in the Naxi Ethnic Village still dry the salt in ancient ways, and it's a main pocketbook for them. According to the historical record, salt drying has started here since T'ang dynasty.
