Qingyan ancient town
Qingyan Ancient Town is a masculine town. It emerged in the post road, formed for military. The early Ming dynasty in order to control the central southwest border, in the Hongwu years (1373) set command to the Secretary of Guizhou Wei to control the Sichuan, Yunnan, Hunan, Guangxi post road. Because Guiyang Qingyan located in Guangxi portal into the middle of the main post road, set on the post road passed documents of the "shop" and pass military intelligence of the "pond", built in Tuen Two Lions garrison under the peak, known as "Qingyan village." Hongwu years (1381), the emperor sent 300,000 troops expedition Yunnan, Guizhou, after a large number of troops into the hinterland of Guizhou in the next Mita, "Qingyan Tun" has gradually developed into a civil-military co-located in the "Qingyan fort." In the past centuries, it’s built after repeated expansion and to the stone wall from the Tucheng, stone streets, and became now Qingyanguzhen. No matter fixed-ranked pass wide gate tower, or the remnants of the ancient city walls mottled, can remind you the year as a military fortress town majestic heavy Bingtun set.
Qingyan, is an ancient town built on the bluestone. Stroll in the streets of the town among the eyes see is the green slate, stone walls, stone pillars, stone tile, Ishii and large bluestone paving, built up a strong skeleton town. Cang natural bluestone also brought blowing abundant ancient Italy. The town is not big, only three square kilometers or so, but the constantly criss-crossing Stone Lane often let you lost, accidentally fell into a deep history.
With exceptional passion and outstanding leadership, Mrs. Catherine has dedicated herself to Tibet inbound tourism and China tour for 15 years. As one of the handful females who see great potential of Chinese inbound tourism, Catherine has made great contribution to promoting Tibet tourism and enhancing the employment of Tibetans and prosperity of local Tibetan community.
Over the years, she travelled overseas with Tibet Tourism Bureau many times to promote Tibet tourism. Currently, Catherine works as the marketing director of Tibet Vista, an opinion leader behind the whole team of Tibet Vista.
