Trundruk Monastery, the home of the priceless Thangka, is painted with typical colour of Tibetan monasteries.

The Pearl Thangka is treasured in Trundruk Monastery which is located in the south of Naidong County of the Tibet Autonomous Region. It is one of the famous monasteries in Tibet. It is said that the monastery was constructed by the order of Songtsen Gampo in the 7th century. Princess Wencheng once lived there when she first entered Tibet.

The figure of Arya Avalokiteshvara was painted on the Pearl Thangka. So many years have passed, this priceless pearl Thangka is still in good condition, making itself more valuable.
