Enjoy hotspring with view of snow-capped mountains

Can you imagine that you can see snow-capped mountains when you are enjoying a bath in a hot spring? Do you want to have a try? Go to Yangpachen Hot Spring in Lhasa where you can enjoy hotspring with view of snow-capped mountains.

The Yangpachen hotspring is located about 87 kilometers away from Lhasa and covers an area about 40 square kilometers. It is famous for the spectacular phenomenon of hot springs boiling on the cold plateau. That is why tourists can enjoy stunning sight of snow-capped mountains while enjoying a bath in the hot spring.

The Yangpachen Hot Springs can be divided into different types, highest-temperature hot springs, boiling springs and geysers and common hot springs.

The Yangpachen Hot Spring is the most beautiful in early morning when the surroundings are very cold while it is hot in the springs. The hydrothermal fields are always suffused with white haze and the lake surface is always covered with great steam agglomerations, which is really fascinating.

If you are lucky enough, you may have a chance to witness the fantastic and splendid scene: the boiling water is erupting to the sky from the mouth of hot spring.

The famous Nyenchen Tanglha Mountains are located in distance. It is really enjoyable to soak in the hot water, with pure and blue sky over your head and white snow-capped peaks in distance. Especially in winter, it is very pleasant and romantic to enjoy the heavy snowfall by bathing in the hot spring if it happens to be a snowy day.
