free cataract surgery have been applied for 1,500 Tibetans in 2012

Tibet, as an important area of China, the daily life of local people in where have been valued that a total of 1.5 million yuan (0.24 US dollars) is allocated for 1,500 cataract patients to receive free cataract surgery in southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region in 2012.


The Ministry of Civil Affairs of China allocated the money to entrust the Aid-Tibet Development Foundation with the program.
 

On July 8, the foundation dispatched a medical team to carry out a sight-rehabilitating campaign among cataract patients in Lhunzhub County in the Tibetan capital of Lhasa.
 

Altogether 950 residents with eye problems were screened free of charge with 117 poor cataract patients having received the free surgery. People now have Tibet travel to visit local people must feel the happiness of them.
